I am a photographer (cq. fautographe) operating exclusively with analogue techniques. That pertains to the whole process: from taking the picture to producing the final print, usually in the darkroom. I love to work with simple, mechanic cameras, expired, locally produced photographic materials, and obsolete or do-it-yourself printmaking techniques. In my photography, I celebrate reality, sometimes creating new realities in the process. The prevailing mood of my work is nostalgic, evoking past worlds that might have never been and capturing that which is inevitably & continuously lost. The Retrogardia website has been patiently coded by hand in HTML, using Notepad and FTP.
